PRIVACY & BETA DATA HANDLING

How Team IFC F1 Telemetry handles beta requests, user information, and future telemetry files.

1. Beta Request Data

When you request beta access, we may collect details such as your name, email address, platform, F1 game version, racing type, and optional contact handle through an external form.

  • This is used only to review beta access requests.
  • Approval is manual.
  • Submitting the form does not guarantee instant access.

2. External Form Notice

Beta requests are currently collected through an external Google Form while the Team IFC dashboard backend is being prepared.

  • The form opens outside the Team IFC website.
  • Users should only submit information they are comfortable sharing.
  • Backend-based account handling may be added later.

3. Future Telemetry Files

During future beta testing, users may be asked to share F1 telemetry recording files so Team IFC can generate 2D race engineer-style reports.

  • Telemetry files are intended to be private by default.
  • Public sample reports will be separate from private user reports.
  • Users should not upload or share files until official instructions are provided.
  • Recorder and upload workflows are not live yet.

4. Report Privacy

Generated user reports are intended to be private by default unless the user chooses to share them or Team IFC asks for permission to use an anonymized sample.

  • Real sample reports will be added only after validation.
  • No fake public report examples should be treated as user data.

5. Payment Status

Payments are not active during the free beta phase. Paid plans may be introduced later after testing and feedback.

  • No Stripe or Razorpay checkout is active now.
  • Users should not pay anyone claiming to sell access unless it is announced through official Team IFC channels.

6. Accuracy & Transparency

Team IFC F1 Telemetry is being built with an accuracy-first approach. Important metrics may be labelled as measured, estimated, unavailable, or low confidence when required.

  • The goal is honest reporting, not fake precision.
  • Some advanced features like 3D replay are planned for later.

7. Contact

For beta or privacy-related questions, users can contact Team IFC through the official beta request form or official Team IFC channels.

This page is a simple beta-phase data handling explanation, not a formal legal document. Details may evolve as Team IFC F1 Telemetry leaves beta.
